A four-wheel disc antilock brake system (ABS) with a Jeep® 4WD off-road calibration system provides sustained wheel lockup on plowable surfaces like mud, sand and gravel.   • Engines & MPG

    When you own a Jeep® vehicle you’re bound to be far off the beaten path at one time or another so fuel efficiency becomes all that more important. The Jeep range achieves up to 34.4 mpg combined (Wrangler Sport Manual 2dr).

    Choose between two great engine options for the Jeep that suits your needs:

    The standard 2.8 DOHC 4-cylinder Common-Rail Diesel (CRD) pumps out 174 bhp @ 3800 rpm and 302 lb/ft of torque (339 lb/ft with automatic gearbox).

    The Rubicon 3.8 V6 engine harnesses 196 bhp and 229 lb/ft of torque.

  • Transmissions

    The Wrangler offers a range of transmission options.

    Manual transmission is available on the Wrangler Sport, Unlimited Sport and Unlimited Sahara. Enjoy the independence of being in control when tackling the great outdoors.

    Automatic transmission offers the freedom of smooth hands-free shifting. Available on the Wrangler Sahara, Rubicon and Unlimited Sahara.

  • Handling & Performance

    The Wrangler has been designed to perform in five key off-road performance categories: traction, ground clearance, manoeuvrability, articulation, and water fording.

    The standard Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering manoeuvres.

    Tuned for superior ride, handling and noise reduction, the Wrangler’s five-link solid axle front and rear suspensions deliver excellent articulation and durability for off-road activity.
