Jeep® Provides a Glimpse of its Advanced AI & Autonomous Off-Road Driving Technology

Jeep® has provided a glimpse of its vision for Zero-Emission Freedom with its electrified off-road innovations.
A team led by Neda Cvijetic, Head of AI & Autonomous Driving at Stellantis, tested the latest prototypes in Moab, Utah, showcasing the full extent and potential of Jeep’s AI-enabled, off-road capabilities.

Installed in two electrified Jeep® Grand Cherokee 4xe models, this AI and autonomous off-road driving technology can enhance the experience of seasoned off-roaders, and support customers who are new to driving off-road. It will also bolster their on-road offering, helping Jeep SUV owners in challenging everyday driving conditions. Jeep is at the forefront of developing automated off-road driving technology, alongside its growing leadership in off-road electrification, with its expanding range of 4xe SUVs.

“In the same way that our 4xe electrification takes Jeep’s off-road capability to new heights, these advanced off-road driving systems will help more customers in more countries around the world join and enjoy the adventure. These features and technology will have real-life applications on and off-road in a wide range of driving conditions.” said Christian Meunier, Jeep® brand CEO.

Jeep’s legendary off-road capability is enhanced by a global electrification initiative, which is transforming 4xe into a new generation of 4x4s in pursuit of the brand’s vision of accomplishing Zero Emission Freedom.
This summer, Jeep® will release a full video to give customers a deeper insight into what the future holds for Jeep’s electric off-roading journey. Stay tuned!
